These are the rules for using Yappbox. By creating an account, you're agreeing to follow them.
You need to be at least 8 years old. If you're under 18, your parent or guardian has to approve your account before it fully works, and they're able to see your friend list and review Shorts you post, to help keep things safe.
You're responsible for keeping your password private and for what happens on your account. If you're under 18, your guardian is involved in approving your account and can see your friend list, but the account itself is yours to use.
Messages, Shorts, photos, and videos you send stay yours - Yappbox doesn't claim ownership of anything you post. But by posting, you're agreeing it follows the rules above, and that Yappbox can store, deliver, and display it to the people you're sending it to (or the community, for public Shorts).
If an account breaks these rules, Yappbox can remove content, suspend the account, or ban it permanently - reports and account status are reviewed and acted on to keep the app safe.
Yappbox is a project built by a kid learning to code. It's provided as-is, and while we try hard to keep it working and safe, we can't promise it will always be available or completely free of bugs.
These terms might be updated as the app grows. If they change in a big way, we'll try to let you know inside the app.
